Marie Curie Training Programme
Ευκαιρίες απασχόλησης για νέους ερευνητές

8 European Universities and Research Institutes led by ENEL Ricerca have recently awarded one of the largest Research Training Programmes funded by the European Commission in the frame of the so-called Marie Curie Actions, with the object of contributing to the formation of “World-Class” researchers in Energy and Environmental Technologies.

The general subject of the training programme is "Integrated Energy Conversion for a Sustainable Environment", giving origin to its acronym INECSE.

The programme is directed to young University graduates and Ph.D. students in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Biological Sciences. Age and nationality are not (in general) a limit to participation, but fellows shall spend all their training period in European countries different from that of origin.

Fellows selected within the INECSE Programme will be trained for 2 or 3 years, depending on their interests and degree of study, by carrying out experimental research activities at one of the INECSE Partner Institutes and participating to a wide range of complementary activities (including attendance at scientific and managerial courses, technical workshops, visits to test facilities) mainly at the sites of two other Partner Institutes.

In this manner, each Fellow will obtain personalised research experiences in three countries different from that of origin.

Each fellow will receive a temporary employment contract with full social and health coverage. He/she will also receive full reimbursement of travel from/to his country of origin, travel and attendance to workshop and congresses, travel from one Partner Institute to another.

The training activities will start on a date agreed by the fellow and his/her selecting Institution between March 1st, 2006 (official starting date) and the end of 2006.
Selection of Fellows is already open and will end with the recruitment of the last approved candidate
